Sharon Witt has been a secondary educator for three decades and is a highly sought-after media commentator on issues impacting young people, parenting and educational issues. She writes for a number of publications and is regularly interviewed for print media, morning television and radio.

Sharon is a best-selling author of 18 books written for young people to help guide them through many of the issues they face in early years, including the best-selling Girlwise and Wiseguys series, Teen Talk, and Starting Secondary School (co-written with Dr Michael Carr-Gregg)

Sharon is the founder of Resilient Kids Conference, a one-day event bringing together some of the country’s leading parenting and education experts. This event has travelled to most states in the country.

She also loves to chat, and several years ago was thrilled to be given the opportunity to host her own radio program on 89.9 The Light in Melbourne. This has seen Sharon interview some of the most incredible people about their stories and live journey. You can listen to her program on Sunday evenings at 9.30pm. This has now developed into an amazing one-day event for women called This One Life.

She is a mum to two young adults and is addicted to coffee.
