Life, Death & ELO by Rick Foley is a contemporary look at the impacts upon the fragility of one’s day-to-day, when illness decides to take the steering wheel. Rick articulates his journey in such a way, that one simply cannot just read his words and not feel inherently moved. His eloquence and oftentimes, harsh and realistic descriptions of what it means to live with cancer, would in my opinion, impact the reader in a way that would encourage changes to how we live life.
